Made by Clayton and Bell in 1869. Two panels, one below and one above gallery, each divided into 3 lights.

Gallery level: Resurrection of Jesus with two angels and recumbent soldiers. (a mix of Matthew 28:4 and Luke 24:4)

Below Gallery: Three scenes from the Resurrection of Lazarus
Left Scene: Jesus asking Martha if her brother will rise (John 11:23-27)
Centre Scene: Martha telling Mary that Jesus wishes to see her: scroll “Lazarus dead” (John 11:28)
Right Scene: Resurrection of Lazarus (John 11: 43-44)

Clayton & Bell, of Regent Street, London formed in 1856, were one of the most respected stained glass firms, so this window is an early example of their work. The theme of the Resurrection was much depicted in their windows.
